Using Your Pharmacy Benefit

Our Customer Service Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to help answer any questions or concerns you have about your pharmacy benefit. Please call us at (800) 460-8988 so that we may help you.

Our Member Portal lets you take charge of your pharmacy benefit from home or on the go. Creating an account will give you access to the following (and more!):

  • Find out how much a specific drug will cost
  • Check to see if a specific drug is covered on your formulary
  • Find generic alternatives to expensive brand name drugs
  • Review your claims history or print an Explanation of Benefits
  • Find a participating pharmacy
  • Print a temporary ID card

Yes. You may choose a brand name drug over a generic drug unless your plan sponsor has implemented a mandatory generic substitution plan. Choosing a brand name drug when a generic is available may result in you having to pay a higher copay and/or the cost difference between the generic and brand drug.

Getting Started with Envolve Pharmacy Solutions' Home Delivery Provider, Homescripts

To get started, all you need to do is complete a New Member Enrollment Form. You can fill out the form and mail or email the completed form to the contacts shown. If you need assistance call Customer Service Center at (800) 785-4197.

Homescripts only provides home delivery services for specific prescription benefit plans. If you are not sure whether your plan includes home delivery service with Homescripts, please contact your plan sponsor.

To contact Homescripts call the home delivery Customer Service Center at (800) 785-4197. Representatives are available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST.

Send all new prescriptions and other materials for your order to: Homescripts, 500 Kirts Blvd., Suite 300, Troy, Michigan 48084.

Ordering New Prescriptions

Once you are enrolled with Homescripts and have a payment method on file, you can send your original prescriptions to Homescripts to fill. Before mailing, be sure to write the primary member's ID number (from his or her prescription benefit card) and patient’s date of birth on the back of all prescriptions. Our online ordering website makes ordering refills of your medications quick and easy. After you have completed your New Member Enrollment Form and Homescripts has processed and approved it, you may go to the online ordering website where your remaining refills will be available for you to order. If it is your first time using the online ordering website, you will need to register and create an account on that site. You will also be required to provide a credit card to pay for your medication orders from the site. All orders must be paid for in full before medications can be shipped from Homescripts.

If you are enrolled with Homescripts and have a prescription for a 90-day supply at a retail or other home delivery program with refills remaining, we will make every effort to transfer your existing prescription or call your prescriber for a new prescription. Transferring your prescriptions can take five to seven business days, so if you need to receive your medication immediately, sending a new prescription to Homescripts is the quickest way to receive your medication.

Using our online "Transfer a Prescription" form, you can submit your prescription details to Homescripts to begin the transfer process.

If you have enrolled with Homescripts and you have a payment method on file, you can refill your prescriptions online. Please note that if it’s your first time ordering from the online refill order site, you must register as a new user. You may also either call our home delivery program Customer Service Center at (800) 785-4197 to request a refill or write a brief letter including the prescription number of the medication you need Homescripts to refill and mail the request to Homescripts.

Your prescription number can be found on your prescription reorder form or your medication bottle. Your prescription will be assigned a new prescription number at least once a year or if you submit a new prescription for the same medication. Prescriptions are typically eligible to be refilled once 65 to 75 percent of the medication has been used, when following the prescribed course of treatment.

Please allow up to 14 days from the date you place your order until you receive your medication. This allows for normal postal delivery time to your location.

Homescripts provides FREE standard shipping for all regular orders shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS). However, you may choose to have your medication shipped by FedEx via Overnight, 2nd Day, 3rd Day, or Saturday Delivery, for an additional charge. Shipping a controlled substance from Homescripts is done through via 3rd Day shipping, with a signature required. Temperature sensitive medication orders, such as insulin, controlled substances, and Homescripts-insured medication are shipped via Federal Express (FedEx) Overnight at no additional cost to you.
